On the sad news of Rabbi Jonathan Sacks’ passing, I dug out his fairly recent confession with Giles Fraser and have been re-listening to it.

Would that Christians sought to under Judaism the way Rabbi Sacks did Christianity (listen in particular to his deep thoughts on Calvinism and covenant).
